My ATIV Book 6 laptop does not power up. The power-on light is OFF even though the power adapter is connected. The battery does not charge, and the charging light is also OFF. I pressed the battery reset button, but nothing resulted from this action. I would have expected the laptop to work even if the battery is not holding charge. What could be wrong?

No aesthetic changes in the chassis from previous ATIV 9 generations except for a new 180-degree hinge.

Samsung Chronos 700Z4A-SD1 SSD
Hi,
I have a Samsung Chronos 700Z4A-SD1 with a HDD and I bought a SSD to replace my DVD drive.
After formatting/installing Windows 10 into the SSD, the laptop just wouldn't boot into Windows. It repeatedly restarts itself right after showing the "Samsung" logo screen. It did not even manage to show the Windows 10 loading screen at all.
Am I forgetting any settings to do before the format?

anyone have the ATIV 9 spin?
Ive been looking at the ATIV 9 spin in bestbuy but two concerns I have for it are battery life and heat. Compared to the Yoga 900, the spin seems to feel hotter in tablet mode. Anyone have one and can comment on that? Also, more importantly, what has been real world battery life especially when compared to say the Yoga 900?

I figured out a way to downgrade the BIOS in the Samsung Series 9, but it should work for any modern day Samsung laptop*. Keep in mind, I am no expert, so use at your own risk. These instructions easily worked for me without any complications.

Samsung NP355V5C - Graphics Card not working. rip?
Hi guys and girls. I have a big problem with my notebook(Samsung NP355V5C). Everything was completely fine until i left my laptop for 15 minutes(nothing was open, idle). When i came back the screen was black(not working) and i could only force a shutdown by pressing power button for 2s(i couldn't put laptop to sleep). When i restarted my notebook i noticed that my graphics card is not working, i can't play any games, etc.

NP940X3G Hardware issue
Unfortunately my NP940X3G-K05US started experiencing hardware issues. While typing or if I have the notebook on top of my lags while sitting the case flexes a bit and I experience the left half of the keyboard backlight turning off. If I press on S or D keys I can get the backlight to come back and then it turns off again. I can also quite consistently reproduce while I have the notebook on the table by simply pressing harder on that part of the keyboard.

caps lock and shift keys no longer working
hi there,
as you can tell by the lack of capital letters, my caps lock and shift keys are no longer working on my samsung 770z5e. i had to copy the at sign via mouse just to log onto here.
it was working fine yesterday, but i woke up this morning and they just no longer work. the only recent change i did, is that i am using a jensen usb wifi adapter as i kept on experiencing dropouts with the internal wifi, in this machine.
i want to avoid a system recovery at this stage as i have work...

Hi, I really like the looks of the new Notebook 9 Pro.
15.6" 4k screen
skilake quad core core i7
8gb ram 256gb ssd
slim and sexy.
But I have one question has anybody upgraded the SSD in this model? 256gb is way too small.

came orginally with windows 8, was working perfectly fine with windows 10, started to bluescreen and got stuck on bootloops, repair bootloops... The bios menu is inaccessible, I have tried every button, also tried booting while removing the ssd and spamming F2 ... Nothing new
Mainly the solution everytime was to install a fresh windows 10 but after a week or so, it suddenly crashes, installed windows 7...

Samsung notebook N700z5c Heavy lag/frame issues
Hey Guys!
I think you guys might be able to help me. So my gf pc gets random "lag", frame drops in everygame she can play. (LEague of legend, diablo 3, guild wars 2 mosty). It's really random, not only 5 min after playing or like a set time of the day. The frame drops to 1 and usually freeze for 1-2 second, then comes back to 10-20 FPS. Sometimes it comes back, other times it needs a game restart. The best way to fix it is a full pc cold restart. I don't think it's related to internet...
